Baby Diary...words of wisdom from mutha budda

Hey Peoples,

After encountering mountains of stupid questions, excited jumping up and downs and friends insisting I must devulge every detail, I have decided to catch the wave of the future and share with the entire world, my experience of PREGNANCY.

So far, it basically takes over your life and your body, till you can think of nothing else other than which bassinet is going to pose a more fatal piece of furniture than the other. Friends seem to drop off the face of the earth, no doubt assuming that since you have another being inside you have no interest in coffee and conversation, or that your breadth of conversation now will only consist of "goo goo & gaa gaa".

I who used to be shewoman almighty goddess who can work for days and never sleep, is starting to have twinges of humanity show through. I am sitting here at one job after 7hrs of doing not much, and am dying (melodramatic pause) to go home to my new aquired body pillow and take up residence on my beloved bed...what is a goddess to do?

  1. What do I have to look forward to? Well at present I am looking forward to this Saturday where I will attempt to swallow 1 litre of water and hold it in my bladder for 1 hr without spillage, and hopefully the little one will reward Mommy by not jumping up and down on bladder (no matter how much like a jumping castle it looks)
  2. not crossing his/her legs, so I can stop saying his/her

Depending on how sedinary the employment I should be updating this rather regularly. So stay tuned to my uterus.
